Based on Pam Houston’s short story, SYMPHONY tells the story of Carol who collects the qualities of her boyfriends like gold plated spoons. As she returns home one evening, Carol remembers moments with three men as her home transforms dynamically around her.
Built on a soundstage with a limited number of flats, this set was designed to be movable and adjustable. Fitting into our 3-day schedule, the set was built for quick turn arounds and complex camera work. Diagrams informed the art department which elements were needed for each set.
